Impotence aka erectile dysfunction proves to have a link with migraine . In a study conducted by researchers from Taiwan found that 63 percent of men with erectile dysfunction often suffer from migraines than men penis works.

In his study, Huang and his colleagues collected information from 23,000 men enrolled in the national database of insurance in Taiwan . About 5,700 men were diagnosed with erectile dysfunction , is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection.

The results showed that men with erectile dysfunction 245 persons or 4.25 per cent , was diagnosed with migraine type . Those who do not have erectile dysfunction, 457 men or 2.64 per cent , was diagnosed with migraine .

After the researchers took into account differences between the two groups , including heart disease and diabetes , they found that patients with dysfunction 1.63 times more likely to erect a diagnosis of migraine.

In his study, the researchers also found that 30 year old man with erectile dysfunction were twice as likely not to be diagnosed migraine.

"This study was well conducted , but the results should be compared with other research before actually entering a migraine as a risk factor for erectile dysfunction or vice versa , " said Dr. Ege Serefoglu of School of Medicine, Tulane University .
